The Public Health Camp consists of a one-week program designed to introduce and promote public health professions to high school students in our service area. The PHAC introduces public health professions by providing interactive lectures and public health related activities with an aim of building a network of students interested in public health across South Texas. The program is composed of one-hour synchronous seminars provided by area public health professional experts or community organizations. Students also develop a capstone project using PhotoVoice which features a public health concern.
